Cortisone is the only thing he recommended. That is bad with my experience.

No wine here. Just beer. My dad had it tough.

That 'short nap' I wanted to take turned out to be a rather lengthy one.

Hello Cleo.

Turtles in the Gulf covered in oil.
Don't know if y'all heard it out there, but here in S.E. TX on Tue there was a big headline. 2 of 8 dead seagulls in Texas confirmed oil murdered. Obama suspected...

Not a big fan of the President but the media has lost their ever loving mind. "So fast they'll turn on ya"

This whole oil in the Gulf thing is a tragedy of epic proportion. What's worse, when the hurricane's start coming not only will there be storm surge, but it will be an oily storm surge that insurance companies won't pay out on because oil is not part of people's clauses.

Interesting take...a glass half empty of oil take...but interesting all in the same.

I don't know, I thought the Valdez catatrophie was quite the hype as bad as it was. The Bay was pristine again after only a couple of years.

Tar balls on Biloxi beaches?
Beaches? We don't need no schtinking beaches...

Yes, we have the tarballs here. Something else that's interesting (in a strange weather phenom sort of way) is that the heat index is higher now due to the oil spill- in the neighborhood of 10-15 F.

I sarcastically reported here a while ago that the oil sheen may be a barrier from the Gulf warm water and the air effectively creating a hurricane proof season. 'Course the un-emploement rate was 9.9% at that point. Temp Census idiots have lowered UR down to to 9.7% Woohoo!?!...actually was just parroting some stupid idiot in the administration trying to spin the oil spill disaster. Get 'em out there sopping it up I say!

Jobs for everyone!
