DVD upscales very good and smooths out the image, need to fiddle around with the colors to look good, still prefer to watch videos directly from my DVD player's VGA output. On older game consoles such as the PS one and Gamecube, it does get rid of the interlacing and smooths out the image helping a lot with the jaggies, the downside is that colors are not as vibrant as they would be with a direct connection which may turn purists away, the images look pretty much like they do when run on emulators.

Response is fast so this one can be used for gaming, since it smooths out the image, it may show the lower resolutions and artifacts of the graphics on older consoles. Still, quite happy with the acquisition, just need to fiddle around with it to get a more smoother image vs color balance.
Sounds cool. Good luck, adjusting it to your satisfaction.

Post up some of your personal configuration as how to get that ding to work to your liking Larry. It would be great input.

They finally found the issue with intermittent line drops here at the apartment. A loose connection at the telecom box around the corner And they tried to blame it on q's imagination

Good morning, AW. A bunch of things to do today. The main thing is getting my Ipad replaced. I am also going back to
therapy. I need a better gauge of my status, before my followup visit next week.

My current one is defective. I will be only using it for web
browsing pretty much. Email, traffic, and other 3G stuff.

BTW, I ran just a little project, nothing complicated but was good to see it working.

I had an RF modulator lying around and just acquired a monitor to use as a TV in my sleeping room, I have an old VCR to act as a TV tuner on that particular monitor. Just because I wanted to see if I could get a DVD to show all the way from my AV/work room to my sleeping room through the antenna coaxial cable using the RF modulator and the VCR and it worked, I thought that the RF modulator only worked well in short distances (3 meters or less, about 9 feet) but I was pleased to see that it worked with no signal issues whatsoever with a 20 or so meter (65 feet) cable.

Just a small experiment, but it worked well.
