I heard from shazza the other day ago...she mentioned a trip back to Australia was in her near future. She was the sound of reason in this thread back when it would get outa hand! Loves me some shazza...but you can never go home or look back or step ona crack...

Unfortunately, the AW group is down to just a handful of people. It's so bad that the 'other' forum is no longer associated with AW, instead they call themselves Origin forums. Sometimes I get the urge to pull the plug on this thread...

What happens when someone talks about Alienware here now? Or better yet wants to actually buy a computer from dell? I haven't been on the Configurator for a month or so (do they still call it the configuratompr

I just not knowing. I really would like a monster Area-51, but you know what? I can do a $1,500 Dell desktop machine and be just rite. I just hate breaking the chain...even tho' Alienware broke it long ago...the bastids

Hee, hee. I just typed out a huge rant about this Forum and how it's lame and the whole Credit/Rep/Hammerhead/DarthBeavis thang...I then deleted it letter by letter.

I just not knowing...the one thing I can be sure of is qhn asking me with disdain if I'm doing another all-niter. The all-niter used to be fun here. Talk to people across the pond/down under and made great freindz for life.

I was a fan of the Forum/thread and encouraged people to stay positive for years. We had Alienware in common and found that we had other things in common as well.

That was purty cool, amazing how that happens. But things change for the good/bad, people die, get banned and/or slowly fade away...

Not much of a difference to see the plus in OC, but not so far off from a m17x performance point of view though. I guess they are the same with different screen size

I have a question for you Q-

Is there any way to get the AW benchmarking submission to include the HD5850? Right now it has the 5870 which is cool since it's a mod, but for those that haven't modded the gpu, it would be nice to include the 5850.
