I won't go into details, but I highly recommend it.

Released 10/26/05.

Flashed my 700m with the 710m A06 BIOS, but the initial splash screen still reads 700m/710m.

Don't know about microphone problem ( I presume that's what you mean by audio glitch), but USB HHD's that weren't recognized by BIOS A05 are happily recognized by A06. That alone is worth reflashing for me.

Dunno, I flashed from A03 to A06 and didn't notice anything different. Then again, I never had any problems with USB on my 700m to begin with.

Humm, I don't see a very big change log.

Issues Fixed:
=============
1. Correct the format of UUID in SMBIOS table.

Features Added:
===============
1. Updated to new PXE ROM to 2.0.9 for BCM4401.

Dell made it very very simple. You download .exe file and double-click on it. Make sure your battery is fully charged and your AC is in. The only bad thing that can happen is your lappy losing power during flash process.
