I'm going to have to keep my D70 for a few more years...but by then, maybe the D300 will be out...oh, or maybe the D3X.

D70 here as well..

Ultimate D-SLR: EOS-1Ds Mark II

16.7 MP

Canon has its successor in the works - will have an EFMP (effective MP) of over 30 I hear and an actual of close to 24.

The 1ds MKII is pretty sweet, but I'd still take the D2X. Dpreview.com has a pretty good comparison, and the D2X has comparable image quality at almost $3k less....plus, it's a Nikon!
