9860 Upgrade Question?

Hello all,

I have the original 9860 with a 3.4 P4, but i'm going to replace the processor with the 3.4 emt64 version. Do i have to reinstall my OS or will XP pick up the changes?

Well guys thanks for the help

Like always, if you want to find out something or see how it works , just do it yourself. I replaced the CPU with no problems, just added some AS5. Now it seems my laptop is faster.

LOL.... guess nobody replied because they didn't know. Inever even notied your original post.

Do you have any before and after benchmarks?
