Well as you all know I had to send my 4780 back.
Sadly it did not function correctly. True to their word Sager called back and issued an RMA and the next day UPS guy came out. Instead of a new one I'll just order another when I come back from vacation. Sager was going to ship out another just like it in 2 days but we left for vacation. ( my Wife would have KILLED me if I stayed for "just a laptop"...for you old farts that have been married 25+ years you KNOW what I mean
)
The overall experiance from a support perspective was quite positive. I do wish the "Engrish" of the Sager dudes was a bit better, we had to go over things several times due to me not understanding them correctly.
I like the tech support direct call lines better even if I have to pay for them. I just like being able to call and speak with a person when I have a problem. But thats just my preference. Bottom line my problem here was resolved quickly and professionaly. Had I still been at home I'd be typing this on a new Sager.
Bottom line.....good folks to deal with, as well as PC Torque. I'll be hollerin' at 'em when I get back......besides.....I read somewhere here there is a 256MB video card coming out for Jan.....guess I'll be gettin that one!
This forum is the reason I bought the Sager and the endorsements of the folks here. And you were all 100% correct.
