Just bought a Amilo M1437G for my dad

and i really like that PC, great screen and awesome desigh compared to the other notebooks ive been checking out.

now what would really be nice is if i could get this model but wiht x700 256mb GPU and a wsxga+ 1680x1024 screen. but so far i havent see any fujitsu model wiht these specs short of the bigger 17' models

The height on M3438G is 3,8cm (m1437 is 3,7) and still the managed to fit a GO 6800 into this machine... that too would rock in a M1437G . has any seen a fujitsu with these specs?

Hi, so far nope, Im also looking for a 15.4 inch laptop with the specs of the M3438G. Or maybe its better to go for the 17 inch. What do you guys think?

Similar to myself the 17" Unit is just too big for my needs, especially travelling around.

Now the 1437G looks such a nice unit, and having read the Spec Sheet and speaking with FS they confirm it will support up to a Intel 770 2.13GHz Processor and they are due this month. But having said that they have been waiting a couple of months already for them. What they were not able to confirm is what other specs would change.

There is rumour of a high resolution screen but does this mean an nupgraded graphics card? The hard drive will possibley be 100 or 120GB as well, but we'll have to wait and see unless anyone knows anything for sure.

Waiting for a mate of mine to advise as he is a Technical Account Manager for FS but works in the Corporate sector so is enquiring about the home office market.

yea it would really be nice with a 2ghz CPU and a x700 256mb and a wsxga+ in this pc.
