Philips Aurilum 5.1 USB External Soundcard

Thread Starter
I recently bought this card for my i9300 and am running win xp sp2. When i unplug it from my laptop the onboard sound doesn't re-enable therefore the speakers don't work. When I uninstall the Aurilium sound agent 2 software for the card and restart the onboard speakers work again.

Does anyone have the same problem or have suggestions on how to fix this?

i'm kinda confused.. however, here's i think the solution for your problem... When you decided to switch to onboard soundcard instead of Aurilium, go to sound & audio devices in control panel, go to audio and in "Sound Playback" tab, choose Sigmatel instead of aurilium..

Goodluck
