Are Alienware notebooks reliable ??

Yeah! I was watching Discovery channel yesterday and some archaeologist in Florida dug up one from the ice ages. Didn't have the cool glowing eyes, and the battery was not charged.

I saw it also it was a good show last night. I hope they show it again in the future. It was awesome although it only had a 10GB HD and 512MB of Ram.

The way I see it the average computer only has a usage life of 3 years before it's COMPLETELY obsolete. Which is probablly why most computer companies offer a 3 year warrenty. I can't give you an honest answer regarding the reliablity question because I've only had my area-51m for a week. However, if it lasts me 3 years before it dies I'll be happy.

Seems like computers do become obsolete before they break. My three year old Dell desktop runs just fine. But it just ain't good enough anymore...
