XPS LED Program + WMP Plugin - Page 6

I like this program a lot, I'm just not sure how to get the WMP plugin to work. Can anyone explain how to set it up so my lights can flash while playing music? Thanks.

Is the LCD fader working for people? I can't get it to work for me. The full XPS Lights version or the stand-alone.

Try playing with the fade speed and test it. Also move the brightness sliders. Sorry but I dont know whats causing it to not work.

I banged around on it all I could before I posted. Not sure what's up, and the LCD fade is all I wanted in the first place. :-)

Maybe something else that I have open is hampering it.

Off to bed.

Qualar, Cheers, but my Gen2 is always on power, not battery.
The thing just wont dim.
Lights work fine.

Great program, hopefully it will keep all the snorers in my tent up tonight so I can fall asleep before they do.

All the lighting effects work fine. I have a lot of things running on my system 24x7, so there may be a conflict, but I won't be able to check that out until the next time I'm ready to reboot.

Thanks,

I also have a problem. I put all the files in my startup folder. It loads up fine. Just that my speaker lights configuration isn't saved for some reason. it loads up as 'cycle colors' instead of monitor - hard drive. my panel & fan configurations are fine and load up correctly at startup. (i specified all off the files except for the .exe as read-only so they won't pop up.)

appreciate the help.

Still no luck with the LCD fader. (The stand-alone or the one in the XPS version.) I've shut down all my other apps and utilities to no avail. Any ideas? I'd really like to get this feature working.

Thanks for your time,

This is hands down THE BEST PROGRAM I've ever had the privledge of downloading. Took all of 1 minute to download and set up and now I finally have a way to see all the colors cycle through and pulsate. Definitely a great program. Haven't played it with Windows Media Player yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Kudos to Qualar for making this program.

Unfortunately its impossible for me to tack the problem because it works fine for me and nearly everyone else. Are you sure you have registered the new version of xpsutils.dll the old version did not contain libaries for LCD dimming.

I'm experiencing this same bug. Just the speaker lights will go to cycle color, the others stay off.

Hope it stays that way.

One day I brought my laptop over to my parent's house. My Dad was like that thing (laptop) is making me want to DISCO!
Well it is still working fine. Man this program is so awesome, it fixes itself!
