Dell should also include an "FN" key on the right side

dunno if it has been discussed before, but dell should have a FN key on the right side as well, so I can change LCD brightness with one hand.
Are there any software that can emulate FN key with another key combo?

I agree. "...dell should have a FN key on the right side..."

On D800 keyboard there are two empty key locations on either side of 'up' arrow key.

You can set (in start; accessories, 'accessibility') for the 'Shift' 'Ctrl' 'Win' 'Alt' keys to "Lock" and if that
were available for 'Fn'

The Fn key operates on a hardware level and is not recognised by windows, only the resulting effects of use with another key...

For true, easy "One Hand" Screen Brightness control, check out post #86 on this thread, he created it for 9300, but it also works great on my D800

Pre-requirements are Dell QuickSet and MS.NET

i think it would be nice for an extra fn key. If i really wanted to i could use one hand to press down both the fn key and up and down arrows but it hurts my hand . Although if you really want to use one hand you could just use change it in the dell quickset, although it takes longer (you only need one hand to operate a mouse or touchpad)

Hey were all lazy and I have to agree that another Fn key would have been nice beside the Up arrow key. However it isn't

I'm using the LCD Dimmer which pilotart mentions above. It was coded by qualar just a few days ago. Works great and has a few nice options.
