What Video Driver are you using?

so, i've been having issues with my Compal CL56 while playing Civilization 4. i've been getting great framerates and smooth play, but occassionally the computer would reboot randomly or close out of the game and come back to a grey screen where i can see my desktop and icons and mouse moving, but everything is very dark grey. after a reboot everything is back to normal.

point is, i decided to uninstall my video driver, which was the Omega Radeon 5.10 i think, not the newest one, but certainly not an old one. i decided to upgrade to the very newest version, and i had even more problems with Civ4.

i've been searching around and there's tons of video drivers out there, so, which ones are you using? and which ones would you reccommend for the ATI M9700 GPU (that's in my CL56)?

currently, i'm using the standard M10 drivers that came on the computer, and actually, i haven't had the reboot/grey screen problem at all since, but my gameplay isn't as smooth it seems. for some reason i feel i need to update to something else.

Its not the driver, the game is very buggy. Horrible beta testing.

Omegas, but I don't know what version.

i would recomend NGO drivers over omegas. I've noticed a 5fps boost in CS:S over Omegas with those drivers. Not too bad for just changing a piece of software

How easy are they to install?
