AMD drivers

I wanted to ask, just to make sure, which drivers should I be installing for my processor on my D470K (same as Sager 4750). It has an AMD Athlon 64, now I presume it is a desktop chip so thus I should install the desktop driver, or should I install the notebook processor driver.

It depends on the processor you have, I have a DTR so that I use the drivers for the desktop version:

Go for the driver and for the power monitor.

DTR
????

Well when I right click on 'my computer' and it brings up the system summary, it only says 'AMD 64 Athlon 3200+', since it DOESN'T say mobile anywhere that is what made me more inclined to use the desktop driver. However with computers, one can never be too sure...

DTR = Desktop Replacement, that is, a desktop CPU. You should have a desktop cpu as well, if you are not sure you can download the amdcpuinfo utility from the website or similar tools such as cpu-z so that you might be able to work it out. As a last resource you can ask your vendor.
