i was wondering if it was possible to change the colour of the leds at the front of the xps gen 2, i've figured out how to change everything else but the front ones still puzzle me.. is there something in bios im missing?

I don't think you can change the color of the front LEDs.

the controls for the front led is in the same place where the other ones are. You can effect it from the bios (I think they are called the speaker led) or use Quickset (left click and hold) under XPS Gaming Interface. There is a panel for controlling the leds, 3 controls, one of them for the front leds.

They can't be changed, they're just white lights shining through blue plastic.

If that's the case, to change it, just change the filter

Or they might be blue LEDs, which could then need resoldering.

Are you sure they are white?

is it possible to move the leds from the speakers to the media buttons, whitout soldering anything? since i never have the speaker lights on (they ae anoying) it would be much more useful to have thoase buttons visible all the time

no it wouldnt as they are surface mount leds so they would have to be soldered onto something,
