To convert a volume to NTFS from the command prompt
Open the Command Prompt window.
In the command prompt window, type
convert drive_letter: /fs:ntfs
For example, typing convert D: /fs:ntfs would format drive D: with the ntfs format.
Notes
To open a command prompt, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Command Prompt.
You can convert FAT or FAT32 volumes to NTFS with this command.

Alway want to ask...haw abt Main Drive ?
For instance I want to format & repartition entire Hard Drive to setup Dual Boot (Windows/Linux) system ?
For desktop PC that was quite simle: Simple Erasing MBR will put HDD back to default state.. then I could repartition it by Acronis Partition Expert(booted from Floppies)...
No Floppies for Acer Ferrari - but this not a problem
But and the most one I wonder:
"what is that Hidden Partition which still exist for ?"
"Is it safe to remove it ?" cause it will be removed while erasing MBR...
