my brand new 9300 vs. older tower unit

just got my 9300 today, unistalled the crap included, did not do a full format/reinstall. I updated all drivers and ran 3dMark05 on it side by side with my home built unit.

Specs- Inspiron 9300: Pentium M 740@ 1.73 ghz, Ge Force 6800, 512MB ram, 60GB WD @ 5400 rpm

Home built: Athlon 2100 OC'd to 2700 @ 2.17 ghz, Radeon 9600 pro, 1 GB PC2700 ram, 80 GB WD @ 7200 rpm

9300 - 3393 3DMarks, CPU Score 3751
Home Built - 1728 3DMarks, CPU Score 3247

both tests ran at 1024x768

ya I had been thinking about how its time to upgrade the home unit, been talking to my friends how the laptop will be better then found out the laptops have regular monitor plugs on the back and realized I could just replace the home unit with it.
