A thread titled Inspiron 9300 Vs. Hp Zd8000 was removed due to my constant use of words...Some jerk wanted me to show him some "stats" so here goes

all the 9300 got on the zd is the gcard and battery time, and since it's a desktop replacement meant to stay home, it doesn't matter. Regarding the gcard, oh well you can't be better at everything

Dell fanboys keep dreaming

Pretty sure the "jerk" he's referring to is me... all I did was politely ask him for some numbers on battery times on his beloved zd8000 (not to show him up... only because I was curious) and he starts cussing me out. Later, he apologizes, only to continue flaming other people on the boards. If you want to talk to a hardcore HP fanboy G$tatu$ is your man, I guess

Hey G$tatu$, it's your favorite Canadian. Nice reviews there, but even CNET puts the 9300 ahead of the HP. And that's not taking into account that CNET reviews tend to be pretty bad AND that most of those benches tend to favor the P4 architecture. But basically your own reviews reaffirm what everybody in the other thread was saying. That is that the Inspiron 9300 is a better buy.

Thanks for playing.

better only for gaming knucklehead, but for real computer work HELL NO...look at the benchmarks again canadian

everyone in this forum seems to be so enamored with gaming like it is the only thing computers are made for. The name should be changed to gamingnotebookforums.com

no it wasn't you sangorel, I even appologized to you( and you only) for over reacting to your question. The jerk was "bigdogmonk" or something like that. And by the way, I like dell too so I'm not a hardcore fanboy. If someone wants a 9300, get a Xps. Getting a 9300 is like getting a non turbo skyline...why not get the better version? And if you cant afford it, buy the zd8000.

Hardcore hp fanboy hahahaha, naw let me get this straightened out(at least try)...There was a thread called zd8000 vs. 9300, the first 1 million threads(exageration, i dont want another dipshit getting saucy with me) were bashing the zd8000 simply because they all own 9300 and this is a dell infested forum(sorry, but its a fact). So I had to stand up for my beloved zd8000. And all the dell fans started calling me a hp fanboy even though they were obviously all dell fanboys gangfuccing me all in the a$$. fags, no more mr. nice guy.

Hey, G$tatu$

Since you are a HP fan, give me your honest opinion of new dv8000 with the AMD Turion 64 cpu in it. I am considering it.

I just bought a dell 9300 and like it so far. Iwas just looking at pics of the zd8000 and it is a sharp looking machine. I think which ever one you decide on will be good, You can't really go wrong with either.

Well dude, the only think that I didn't like about the dv8000 is the non dedicated graphics card. Since you dont need it for games, it would be a perfect match for you. One thing though, the dv8000 is very new so hp will prolly not give big discounts on it for a little while (late dec early jan maybe?) like they do on other models that have been out for awhile, so if you can wait good.

17 inch screen is stunning, mobile cpu means good battery time, less heat issues, and quieter fans. Dual hard drive gives it the most amount of hard drive space available to a laptop. 64 bit cpu. great speakers. full keyboard ( a notebook rarity). Play cd's and dvd's without boot up.

no media center, low end graphics card(good enough for everything but not high end gaming.

by the way im nt a hp fan, I just love the zd8000...I like all brands as long as it isnt crap. good luck and hope u make a wise decision, it's all up to you, you will be the one using it.
