upgrading cards should be easy, before i sent back my lappy they wanted to try to solve my problem (backlight switch) by reseating the video card. unscrew the 10-12 screws holding the large plate on, then 3 screws on the middle plate (video card) and the card comes off - it has a small fan with a wire that you have to be real careful with but it was NOT hard. they will send out the new cards id assume. i want another 512 of ram and the 5700 please
