Add more memory to 600d

Hey guys when I purchased my 6000d I upgraded to the 1 gig memory. I was wondering how much it would cost to add another gig of memory and how hard it is to intall? Let me know thanks.

It should only cost around $100 for another memory stick. Installing ram isn't very hard either, just requiring you to ground yourself, open the ram slots on the laptop's bottom, open the latches, and install the ram. I'm pretty sure if you want more instructions, other people give a more detailed explanation...

Its very easy to install, but if you have 2x512 meg sticks then adding a 1gig stick will only take you to 1.5 gigs of memory. If you have only 1 stick then you're golden.

well I ordered 1 gig sddr2 from dell deos the 2 meen that it has 2 512 or what?

If you check your invoice or your order you will see. If it says 1GB,533mhz,2x512 then you have 2 sticks of 512. If it says 1024,533mhz,1x1gb then you have 1 stick.

on the invoice it says 1gb ddr2 sdram 2 dimms 1gb2d [311 - 4741]
