Audio on Sentia Better than Dell?

Wife has a Dell 600m, I want a AW Sentia, read somewhere on the AW webpage that they have amazing audio, if I take a music cd and listen to it on my wife's dell 600m, then take that same cd and put it into the Sentia will I "hear" a difference?

Not so much speaking about the laptops speaker sound moreso the headphone sound.

Headphones being Sennheiser HD 595's btw.

Thanks to anyone who may have either done this type of test or knows in general, just curious moreso than anything if this is an "inflated" claim or not.


ALso in the ordering process would either of these really make a difference in laptop speaker or headphone use sound? (I don't know alot about pc sound stuff but am a home theater and home stereo buff).

I assume the Audigy is all internal right (no breakout type boxes), not looking for something i have to carry around a bunch of extra pieces for use.

The creative should be an internal sound card if I've read the description correctly and as with a desktop sound be better than the mobo intgrated sound card. Just remember the more stuff you put into the Area51m/Sentia the lower the battery life will be. At any rate the only sound difference between the dell and sentia will be if you upgrade the sound card. Otherwise it is just the integrated sound card on the mobo which shouldn't be much different between the two computers.

I doubt the creative sound card would make much of a difference if you were still using the internal speakers. I would describe the internal speakers as clear and bright, but of course very little to no deep bass.
