I purchased this Nook Color specifically because I was taking a very long trip to China and wanted to be able to read without carrying a ton of books. I also liked that it had email capability...
This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented.
Overall A+++
Fantastic had this machine 6 months and can honestly say have had no bother with it. Plays games better than most desktops and keeps up with the rest which is outstanding for a...
My Taskbar looks weird especially the Window icon from Start button, also other icon from the bottom right as well, with nasty squarebox on it, any thought?
We'll need more information than "it looks weird". Ideally, a picture would be most helpful, but a description of how it looks (besides "weird") would be good.
What I meant is that all the small icons on my screen, such as the graphics in the "Start" button, and the icons in my task bar and title bar look very pixelated. I wonder if this has happened to other people?
Are you running your laptop at its native resolution? If you don't, it'll distort the image on your screen, since it has to stretch the image to fit the native resolution.
You can fix that problem by changing the DPI to its native setting. the jagged "square" that appears around the windows start button appears for me when I run at 96 dpi, but goes away at 120
Hrm.. odd.. I always though that 96dpi was the default Windows setting. I know Dell changes this on some of their laptops although mine was shipped at normal 96dpi setting. Might want ti change it and see.
Look at my post regarding 'Firefox and WUXGA screen'. It might help with the small letters when browsing. Everything else, you can keep it at 96 dpi but make the fonts and icons larger.
