SD Card reader drivers?

Where can I find these? They're not listed on the Dell.ca site in the Inspiron 9300 drivers section....

Thanks,

These drivers are not needed as they will come with XP.

Be careful though, some sd cards are not compatible with the reader in
the 9300. There's a page on it on the dell site regarding this.

I am also looking for these, it comes with windows SP2, but i'm using a *cough* backup copy of XP pro and i can't get/install SP2. Dell doesn't offer them.

Here is probably not the best place to get help with pirate software, though I would have thought that with a little help from Google you could probably sort it out.

dont make excuse for things you had a chance to fix by contacting them. and paying for home doesnt give you a free upgrade to pro

All I wanted was a windows XP CD, didn't care what one, i refuse to pay money for it because it seems to me you should get one and not a picture of one on a piece of paper saying don't need one...

I e-mailed Dell sereral times after contacting them by phone twice, only to say it will cost $ me to get it, and not just shipping. My initial plan was to do a fresh install the moment i got the laptop. But i didn't recieve my XP media center CD, So i had a choice of either doing a fresh install and using this backup cd or wasting more time trying to get my CD from Dell, not be able to install my programs, games and personalise windows because when and if i did get my CD from Dell i would loose it all anyway because of the reformat.
I decided I would be better off just reformating and installing this backup cd, everything turned out fine except these SD card drivers. I've given up on dell and wasting my life away on the phone with them, and possibly going insane trying to get that damned CD. Maybe one of these days i'l work up the motivation to call them once more and put my foot down.

And I promise the flaming on Dell stops here, becuase no one really wants to hear it. These laptops are awesome, Dell is a huuuge company and i guess i can't expect to be treated like i was buying an Alienware or Voodoo. But please Dell at least include the Windows CD that is unique to each laptop, you give the product id, why not spend the extra .001 cents and give me an xp CD?

I have purchased my dell sometimes around 2005 and now nowember 2007. I am using my sd card reader first time but I cannot use it. because in the device manager there is a yellow mark on the "Secure Digital Storage Device". when i put the sd card in the reader this category gets created, when I pull it out it dissappear. this is under the 'Disk Drivers" .Anyone had a solution since the last posting here.
thank you

I went to dell chat and they sent me a new copy of the WinXP MCE disc. Maybe you're not under warranty anymore? I will be happy to make you a copy and send it to you, and you can use the certificate of authenticity on the bottom of your computer for the CD key.
