Yep everything that R_Mutt says is true. When I set the first money order I got it back about 2 weeks later beacuse it didn't go through. Now its been well over 2 weeks with the second one and I have not recieved it back OR the card. Hopefully that guy can be reached on his phone and either give us our money back or the card. =/ not sure what to do because I have never bought anything online this way. It's never going to happen again either.

Guys, i feel pretty bad.

I bought the card from this kid in person.

We went through a pretty crappy negotiation, him backing down a couple times, saying he already had it sold, or wanting to meet up then cancelling.

I met him in person and exchanged cash for the card. He does live in the Mass area, i drove there and of course met him at a mcdonalds instead of his house so i don't know exactly where it is.

BUT, i do live about 30min away from him, and i do have the card myself, so that is proof that you guys got ripped off and did not recieve the card.

If i can help in any way, please let me know. He seemed very suspicious at first, and i was weary of making the deal. I am glad that i met him in person instead of sending the money.

I am perfectly willing to go knocking on his door.

has anyone tried to contact his parents using the adress he provided?

He is a kid. probably 18 years old.

The only thing i've been asking him is to come clear with the status of the card or at least make up something of sorts meant to end this sharade. I told him there will be no hard-feelings if the card becomes unavailable and the money gets returned. I'll attempt to cancel the money order tomorrow and the money better not be cashed and that things won't get more complicated from there.

I'd put my money on the fact that it has been cashed. You should be more aggressive...he's pretty much obviously trying to troll you so tell him you'll file for mail fraud, with his local pd, etc. If he's a kid with a future he'll get scared, if he has none you just lost your money pretty much.

Tell him that I will do the same.

USPS is really slow if you inquire abot their money orders -they had no idea what to do in the first place but as it turns out they have nothing to do with it except collecting fees. I'm still waiting for some bank to confirm the receipt of moneyorder status request.
in any case, if the money have been cached, what woud it take to get someone to give him my regards to mr Willbanks? I'm sure there are few other people that would like to relay him...something. It's Thanksgiving afterall.

USPS says the money order has been cashed on the 8th of Nov. I think he had plenty of time to respond and don't like to threaten people with words.

Time to call the police and end this madness. On a personal note I really dont trust anyone with escrow type services. In most cases if they are unwilling to send the money first or do a exchange or a cod I will always decline the offer. Whats the bad side of COD? It ensures money is delivered for the product doesnt it?

yea i tried to send him a money order for his 9100 but at a different address than the one you provided. USPS sent the money order back to me...TWICE saying that no one by that name lived there. After all that he ended up saying he sold it locally.. but he was very hard to get ahold of. Seems kinda sketchy

p.s. clearly i didn't read the rest of the post before replying. Glad i didn't deal with this kid. Hope you guys get your money back
