what the!!! 3254???
you have same configered system.......
3dmark2005????? not 2003?
2003 would return an even higher score because it's based on older technology. This is indeed 3DMark05 1.2 Free Edition.

Someone suggested "control panel -> power management -> 'Always On'" and I'm trying that now. But I haven't noticed any difference thus far.

this is a littlew way there but be sure that you did not get a 5710 w/ an x700. Only thing I could think of to explain that score.

Good Luck, my man, if i can help in any way let me know!!!

How is the score with the new 81.94 forceware drivers?

Ugh, that would suck! Man, I would not be happy if that was the case, but I doubt that's what happened.

What range do people get with overclocking the 7800 ?

People should also be telling us what, if any, background applications are running (antivirus, spyware protection, firewall, etc.).

I know my 3DMark 05 - 3DMark score of 6910 is good. In fact, it's the highest I've seen for the NP5720 and one of the highest I've seen for any notebook.

However, I don't know if my 3dMark 05 - CPU score of 4010 is good. What are some typical ranges for CPU scores?
anyone tried with 3dmark 2001? I know it's kind of old, but it demands more from the cpu.

LOL...out of morbid curiosity, I would be interested in what the results would be.

doc_simple did a test using 3DMark03 in his (somewhat hard-to-read) review. And scored 14,837. 3DMark01 would probably score above 30,000.
