That sounds great! It does depend a lot on which cpu you buy it with. I'm buying with 2,13ghz . Too bad it's over a month until I get it

Well, is the cooling efficient enough for overclocking? I would like to see someone break the 7000 barrier, and use it as a 24/7 setting.

EDIT: You got the 7800gtx go, or? But then the 200mhz core and 600mhz memory can't be right. 7800gtx go is clocked 400/1100 standard. 1100mhz memory efficent, or 550mhz.

The 200/600 are the 2D clocks

yes. i got 7800gtx with 5720.
Rivatuner.
on main, system setting,
overclocking - enable overclocking. performance 3d
core - 400
momory - 1100

whats next?

Now you start encreasing both both core and memory. After you have increased a bit, run 3dmark 05, and check the temperature after it's done. As a little thumb rule, you can overclock until you get artifacts, or it gets unstable

Have you overclocked anything yet?

question

Can someone tell me or show me a place to learn what this stuff means?

I see this benchmark termonolgy everywhere but I have no idea what it means.

What do you mean? 3dmark 05? Basically it's a program which gives you an indication of how fast your computer is for gaming, mainly focusing on the graphic card(although the cpu and ram have a little impact on the result, especially with high end graphic cards). Is this what you were questioning?

Anyway, have any of you gotten any further with the overclocking? hakigo?

i tried oc with nvidia.
there is test changes, and i cannt get over 410 core clock.
it failed over 410. so i guess it is not safe do this with nvidia program.
do you know any other oc program?

I just

have no idea what benchmarks etc mean.

3d mark d and the numbers that go with it. 5000, 6000, what do they mean? How much better is a 5000 than say a 3000, is a 3000 usable or should you shoot for 6000?

oveclocking, I have no idea what that means. I see all this termonology and I am just lost.
