I just started using Dell's 78.51 driver. No problems for a week. I don't think that's the problem, but I was surfing the web and all of a sudden, the screen goes completely blank. the system is still running, just the screen shuts down (not a black screen but an off screen). I couldn't esc out of it or anything. Had to hold down the power button to reboot and then everything was back to normal. Hasn't happened again yet. I'm not sure what it was, just as I clicked on the screen (not even a link) just the screen. Has this happened to anyone? any idea what it could have been? Maybe my undervolt?

I have the same problem as yours buddy, this is because of the power setting, they altomatically set it turn off the monitor after 15 mins, I changed the setting to "never". but after restart the computer it will turn it back on, really bother me, sometimes after the monitor turned off I can turn it back up, but mostly I can't....... the computer just DEAD! So i have to reboot the computer (sometimes I was downloading stuffs on the internet) BTW, I'm using the 81.85 driver. It happens to me all the time!

That doesn't make any sense. On my power setting, I have it to never turn off the monitor. And this would only apply if the pc wasn't active. but I was actively surfing the net and clicking around. So I'm not sure what bug you're talking about. I still don't know what happended but it hasn't happened in the last 15 hours at least since this morning and I've been on my machine all day and night. It only happended only once last night and that's it. So go figure. If anyone has had this happen, let me know.
