Yah, me too. Ordered on sunday, come monday it went in to production around noonish and by 3pm, it was in "testing". Tuesday, still in "testing" and here we are on Wednesday and it's still in "testing". This is assuming that the last step with a check mark in front of it means it is still in that phase and not that it was done. Only boxing and shipping are the phases I don't have a check mark in front of. Must be really difficult to box them.....yah.

Or my Conspiracy Theory is, on paper (or web) they zoom to a stage where if you cancel, you have to pay a restocking fee . So like you order your item and 1 hour later, they 'show' on the web site that they have built it....but just waiting on boxing or UPS, when in actuality, they haven't done anything more with your order then check your credit card.

When I ordered my 2405 24"WS LCD, it zoomed to the boxing, waiting on shipping company stage in about 3 hours from my order. Then mysteriously, it took 4 days after that to get a UPS tracking number. I got it in under a week and am happy with the screen, but it always made me wonder if that initial ULTRA FAST response to my order was nothing more then a lie to lock me in to paying them money if I decide to cancel.

Now I order a laptop and once again ULTRA FAST response to get it to a point where I have to pay restocking fee's if I cancel and once again a huge slow down after that point. Which once again makes me wonder if they actually went any farther then checking my credit, even though the site list my laptop as built and tested.

Accessories shipped seperately?

When I ordered my 6000 it had no mention of the accessories being shipped together or seperately. Anyone know if it is all bundled in one box? And if seperately, is it sent before the puter is built or after? I just wonder so I know if I have to stay home & wait for the UPS guy.

Accessories:
1 Spare AC adapter
1 9-Cell Battery
1 Media Center Remote

Sweet, i'm happy. I woke up this morning and had an email from Dell saying that my laptop shipped yesterday Problem is, with 3-5 day shipping, if its delivered on a monday, nobody's gonna be home, and it has to be signed for. I guess i can call them and tell them to hold it and i'll pick it up myself. But either way, i'm glad it's shipped already. This is great. Soon i'll be among the large group of i9300 owners

I ordered lappy on Wednesday (23 Nov), do u think it's possible Dell deliver lappy till Friday 2 Dec. Estimated shipping date is 6 Dec.

It's certainly possible, but because you ordered the day before a holiday, there's no telling. If you don't get it by friday next week, you'll probably get it the week after next, but then again, it also depends on where you live. I found out through the tracking that my laptop shipped from Nashville, TN. I live right outside of Memphis, TN (approximately 200 miles away lol). So it was in Memphis the same day it shipped. I would've gotten it yesterday but UPS was closed

I ordered mine on Thanksgiving. I hope that doesn't affect the shipping time.

I ordered a 700m on Wednesday afternoon. It's been sitting in "Boxing" since Wednesday night, with an estimated ship date of 12/12....

I ordered my i9300 on Thursday evening local time, took 4 days for the order to be processed, tested, packed and sent half way around the world, checked at customs, arrive at the factory and sent to the local postage service

It better be new, I ordered it as NEW.

Although I looked it up and "ex-" means:

Quote:
Outside; out of; away from.
I dont know if it has the same meaning here though... EX also means

Quote:
Abbr. x. Business. Free of any transport or handling charges incurred before removal from a given location: bought the goods ex warehouse

OMG 6 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I placed my order on 11/23/2005, and then you figure that with Thanksgiving day & the weekend it would take a while...

I got notice that it was shipped on the 28th overnight to arrive on the 29th. That's an unreal turnaround time. Let's see if it really arrives tomorrow. If it does DELL RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually 3 days if you consider that they might have been closed on Thanksgiving and the weekend. Lets just hope that they put the thing together correctly. I rather they take their time and get it right ya know?
