I sold it 2 months ago to pay for the T43. Those pictures were done at the buyer's place.

Now I just see it when I'm in town and drop by (a friend bought it).

sad thing is, 3 weeks after I sold it, I learned the joys that are World of Warcraft. Now I miss the Ferrari...but I'm too happy with the IBM to really regret what I did.

The ferrari looks surprisingly thin, but I can't tell if it's just the pictures. How much thicker is it than the t43? It's hard to tell from the angle of the side pics.

My friend in Belgium has one, he loves it. Is the build quality better than the other acers?

Well, the T43 is sitting on a mousepad, so that raises it about 1/8" or so.

the Ferrari is thin, not quite as thin as the T43, but about as thin as a T22.

It's a bit thicker in the back than it is in the front, and with the rubber standoffs, definitely sits a bit higher than the IBM does.

Build quality on the Ferrari is 2nd only to IBM from my experience, although I keep hearing good things about the Asus line of laptops...

These are the 2 leaders of their respective classes(14" form factor, 15.4" form factor respectively), as far as I'm concerned.

But the mouse sucks right? I will probably get one(t43) in case I have to use it outside the house.

the bluetooth mouse? yeah...but if it's plugged in it's fine. Go figure.

Anyway, that's what the MX510 I have sitting around is for.
