hey everyone... i bought 2 corsair 512mb ddr400 sodimm ram modules and they don't work in my 8790!

i know the 8970 comes with apacer, but i can't find a reliable source online for 512mb modules...the 512mb ones seem obscure or really expensive...

can anyone tell from experience which make and model 512s work in the 8790??

thank you!!

Might want to contact your reseller for a quicker answer than what it looks like you're getting here in the forums.

Most of the problems come with the (confusing) Latency specifications for the memory. Too slow (at bus speed and capacity rating) and the memory just won't work - at all. Agree with FT, might be best off contacting your reseller or Sager directly. My Brand, if memory serves me well, was Apacer.

Correct. Apacer it what Luke at PCT recommended to me. Just NewEgg PC3200 DDR400 RAM for laptops and you should be ok.
