Orders Being Delayed (over and over again)...

Am I the only one who's order keeps getting delayed? My original ship date was 10/28 and was delayed to 11/8 then 11/12 then 11/14 then 11/15 and today was delayed to 11/21. I ordered my laptop back on 9/28 and have been more than patient knowing it takes awhile to make a quality laptop, but this is rediculous.

I'm calling tomorrow and if I don't hear anything encouraging I might cancel

I just wanted to know if others are experiencing the same thing.

I have had one slip so far from shipdate of 11/25 to 12/2.

Your delay is due to the 7800. This card in still not available to many companies, HS being on of them. Word on the street is that systems with the 7800 will start shipping on friday.

The phase coils in my transporter are misaligned. I will not be able to fix it by then.

From a reseller. I asked HS last week about the 7800 / EX7 and they said 2-3 weeks, but they have been saying that for a while now. I talked with a pro-star rep on the 11th and he said that they expect to be SHIPPING systems with the 7800 on the 18th. A HS shipping date of the 21st seems congruent with what the pro-star rep said.

The problem was that they didn't get any 7800s plus they needed to get new mobos to support them.

Check out AW's new Aurora 7700. Configure one with a 4800 X2 and Geforce 7800 GTX. Look at the expected shipdate then come back here and comment.

Well, from Drohm's sig I assumed he had ordered an EX7. This system uses P4s. The motherboard for this model had to be slightly updated inorder to handle the 7800. The Aurora 7700 is the same Clevo model (D900K) that has been delayed until december. All resellers are saying december as a ship date for that model. The EX7 will be shipping this/next week. The FX7 should be ready in december. I'm not sure why adding the 7800 would push it into Jan unless they were using the current availability of the card.
