Sager 5680 3dmark2003 score (2874)

Just ran it, 2874. Just installed Winxp, servicepack1, DirectX9, and all drivers. 1024x768, nothing else done to the laptop.

I am going to install the new video drivers 7.95 and see if the score changes.

Does this score seem about average? I have seen 3000+ on 3.0ghz laptops and am wondering why I'm at 2874.

PS: 3.2ghz, 128ATIradeon, 7200rpm HD, 512mbram

Your processor has a lot less to do with your 3dmark scores than you may believe.
