3880 "My Computer" key woes

Hello! I am desperately searching for a way to disable the "My computer" key that is between the left "alt" and "Spacebar". It never fails that in the heat of the moment I will mash that instead of the alt key and get toggled out to desktop.

If anyone has some tips or tricks on turning this "feature" off, I would greatly appreciate it!

well I found a "shareware" program that will let me turn that key off, I was hoping there was a registry edit option like the dreaded windows key.

Does anyone know if there are any drawbacks to using a software key mapper to modifiy your keyboard settings?
