It seems to me that my 8790 keeps losing connection to my wireless router constantly. I thought i saw a subject on this earlier but was unable to find it. Yes my network and signal are fine btw, anyone run across this issue and resolved it?

Take a look at the grey and black wires that are connected - or maybe one or the other is not connected to the WiFi Card. The WiFi card is located under the HDDs. I think it was the one one the right as you look at the bottom of the case and have the laptop oriented so that the HDDs are closest to your body.

You might also try swapping the two wires.

NOW - IFFFFF, it used to work OK and now does not work well, my suggestions may or may not be worth doing.

If you use the WIAG Utility, my suggestion is don't. Uninstall the wireless network adapter in device manager. Extract GN-WIAG Utility to a folder. Add hardware, browse to GN-WIAG folder and find the INF file to install it. If I'm not mistaken, this will only install the driver and Windows will handle wireless instead of the Sager utility.

I seemed to get better range and reliability when using this method. Might give it a try.
