Sony Vaio T250

One of the ultimate ultraportables with dvd burner

Pentium M 1.2
512 ram (upgradeable to 1 gg)
video is the intel extreeme 2 shared 64mb
DVD-R
10" xbrite screen
wifi/wireless
2 usb
pcmcia
memorystick slot
external volume controls
dvd control buttons

On max battery settings, you can get 5-6 hours of battery life.


It is in new condition, no wear, scratches, etc....

The only defect, if you can call it that is ONE damn dead pixel lol. Sony would not replace it....(hence their dumb pixel policy) You really don't notice it at all....it's one the right side of the screen.....really really tiny.

Have original box, papers, etc...
Will include 2 cases (slip case and brief-trype case)

More exhaustive specs list also would be nice. Don't be lazy.
Most people hear will skip the ad rather than lookup the laptop on the sony website to find out if its worth considering.

I know you are trying to help, but please don't call me lazy. It's just I really don't know what else to write to describe it...
10"screen, 2 usb ports, expandable to 1 gig, built in wireless, 5-6 hour battery life possiible, external volume controls, vga out, memorystick slot.

Despite what u might think that addition actually paints a better picture. Couple more things and you'll be set.

How big and what speed is the hardrive?

I think you glossed right over the main selling point of this nice lappy. How heavy (or light) is the notebook with optical drive and battery?

I like the 250, small and light, the perfect traveling companion...with dvd-r to boot, but car repairs force me to sell one of my notebooks and it has to be this one (the decadent one!)

Hey thanks! about the music.....my hobby! Everyone seems to like Protector! I have a new track in the works too. Thanks all!

Regarding the 250, I actually can run Reason on it fairly well....no huge track counts, but it is a very good travelling companion for music making too.

BTW, my camera is on the fritz....focus is busted...have to wait on the pics.

I have it sitting on top of a Dell Inspiron 9200 (17" screen) for size comparison. Definitely small form factor! It's not as small as the JVC 841 or the Toshiba Libretto, but those small ones don't have an optical drive. The new TX is out, but it's a bit bigger and more expensive to boot.

If you are looking for a small travelling companon or want to go mobile, the t250 is an excellent choice.

I have even done some music production on it with REASON and cubase.
