Desktop Enhansments

Thread Starter
I'm looking for programs to make my desktop look better, I currently use ObjectDock, which I don't really know if it's a good program or not. I was wondering if anyone can recomend a good shell customizer, because I know there are a lot of them, and I've had some bad experences. I need something that has A LOT of skin options and that won't slow my computer down, and that gives me the same, or more options as XP

Thanks

I use Style XP too. They have all kinds of cool toolbars and wallpapers at ThemeXP . Drew have you tried changing your boot screen yet? I tried and It gives me two choices for the OS at boot, so I restored it to default. It didn't do this on my desktop and I have the same OS.

I use YZdock. Have tried ObjectDock and Mdock and some others but stayed with YZdock. I also use Style XP but ahve noticed that sometimes the theme images dont come through unless you go in and change it manually to something else and then change it back to what you wanted.

ThemeXP is awesome. It would be even better if it wasn't a trial version.

themeXP is nice. but it´s really boring and timeconsuming to create everything needed for a personal skin for everything. i just don´t like using things someone else has created.

Mechanic Style XP is the program and the full version is only 19.95. I'm trying to keep everything on this computer legit so I actually bought it for the laptop. My desktop is another story.

I didn't buy it b/c I don't need it. I just wanted to see how it was.

I use style XP and I hacked explorer with a hex editor to make my "start" button say "PdAwG", a nickname of mine.

Speaking of wallpapers...perhaps people could post their desktop backgrounds so that we could share them...just a thought!
