Post your 7800 Go GTX 3DMark05 scores - Page 4

Just got 7804 with no artifacts @ 480/1300, overvolted to VID 7 with Nibitor. Only 2GHz chip so I don't think I'll reach 8000, but that 2.4GHz pinmod definitely helps.
450x1200=7237
460x1250=7434
460x1250(rallycobras mem timings)=7447
470x1300(mem + vid 7)=7617

7617 is my best all I wanted was 7500 or better. My temps never go over 75 in games.

7956 @ 500/1300, some minor artifacting though. Still impressive for only 2Ghz CPU!

Gonna set it back down to 470/1300 and leave it there.
did you create your own Bios with 500/1300 or how did you get it?
My best is currently 7890 with 485/1250.
7750 with 470/1300.

People who are using the overvolt mod. What are your high and idle temps when bringing the core over 465?

Using Latest Dell Drivers...

Stock 6802
Auto OC'd 7390
No Artifacts seems to be working fine, need to run little longer to be sure, pretty happy so far especially for a replacement/refurbished $277 dollar part!

I used some Dell drivers and 495C1320 to get 8080 points
Going for 8.1k later.
Maybe I should think about pinmodding a CPU
post #68 of 267
Still a little bit more
495/1300 and still no artifacts

8190 Pts

Question here, did you guys reformat before you put in your GO 7800GTX's or did you just plop them in? I dont feel like backing up everything and I wanna be lazy, so I might take the easy route and just clean out the drivers, flash, install, and install new drivers.

Damn! Now I can't brag to everyone I have the fastest laptop in the world Nice job everyone, Somebody will have to start a 7.5k+ 3dmark05 club!

Are you people saying you have no artifacts just going by screen appearance, or are you running ATITool artifact tester for 24 hours?

Unless you plan on gaming for 24 hours doesn't it seem like overkill to run the tool for that long? Just curious.

Somewhere out there is someone who is probably reading this and chuckling away at us as he's cruising along with a watercooled pm laptop @ 2.8ghz and his 7800gtx @ [insert ridiculous clockspeed] with a 3dmark of 8500+.

(didnt reformat windows, I b/up to acronis to 2nd internal drive though)

flashed bios to hacked 9300, xps then xps 5

uninstalled nvidia, used driver cleaner pro, changed out cards, installed extreme g drivers

(then waited for new psu but thats another story; the original psu gets 4500 3dmarks and charges the battery fine, but laptop runs at 1300mhz on power and will not boot with psu connected, have to start on battery. 7000 with new psu)

Ordered the card Wed., got it Fri., installed it and ran 05 with latest Nvidia drivers and Xtreme 81.94, couldn't break 6600...all were in the 659Xs. Took back apart and applied AS3 to GPU, downloaded Dell drivers and got 6610. Probably not gonna OC.

Stock Dell drivers
6610

ARGH! Well I over volted and adjusted my timings, and I still have not seen one bit of differene AT ALL! I cant go above 450 on the core and 1230 on the Ram. Its as if there was no chage at all. I defintly know that my settings are sticking whenever I open up Nibitor and edit the roms I made the volt and timings change, they are still there. I dont know what the hell is going on with my card! My 3D Mark Score even at 440C1230 is at 6,890!! WTF?!

^--- and his laptop bag is one of those oversized steel suitcases you see people handcuffing to their wrist full of money/drugs in movies. Luckily he had just enough room left to put a universal transformer in there for traveling to foreign countries. =)

I dunno, that might be a *tad* bit low but nothing abnormal for a 740 I'd figure.

yeaaah
a new record again...

8233 Pts...

it´s a wonderful card...

500/1320 now it´s enough...
I think there were some minor artifacts, too.
