the sticky doesn't mention pin count and such bc the configurators and corresponding links indicate what u will need, which are basically...
200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR-333 PC2700 Notebook memory
here's some crucial stuff from newegg...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145068
u can pay thru the nose for memory configured at the sites in line w/ abf's brand recommendations. personally i'd recommend going w/ memory like @ newegg that has reviews of actual users. notice the "generic" crucial has a number of reviews. a number of sites listed by way of dealram and ramseeker also offer guarantees w/ your system, so check into those options as well.
as noted, i got my 512MB stick via dealram @ buy.com, was guaranteed to work w/ my iBook, and has been flawless ever since.
u can get it from crucial (exact same model #) for ~$190, or from newegg for ~$118
the brands @ newegg which seem to have a solid amount of apple related reviews are patriot, crucial, and kingmax, which are all under $140 for 1GB of RAM. the gigaram seems to have worked for a bunch of wintel users, so it may be solid for u too.
whatever u decide, let us know what u go w/ and how it works out.
