inspiron 5100 another problem wireless card only works if pressed in hard.

i have a dell inspiron5100 laptop i fixed all my other problems so far and the last problem i have is my laptop was working fine and running nice and cool and i had my wireless card in and i was online and then it just stopped working and would only work if i pushed it in with a little pressure and then it worked fine. any idea what i have to do to fix this mystery??

Your using a PCMCIA card right? Its obviously making bad contact so you need to see if anything is clogging the port like dust or debris. If you have another PCMCIA card test to see if your getting a similar issue with that device. Report back on any new findings.

tried another new card and it does the same thing pulled the whole laptop apart and there is no dust or debris cloging the pins also i dont notice any bad solders

i think i figured out whats wrong with my laptop the slot it self the metal thing thats glued to the motherboard isnt glued anymore and is just laying in there which leads me to believe its making a bad connection there.
any idea on how to fix this??
