Poor DVD Quality? 5320 1680x1050 screen

Ok, so I have everthing installed on my 5320 and have windvd 7 installed. If i go full screen with dvd's the quality of the picture is poor. I did try the windvd that came with the computer and same thing. I have tried hardware acceleration as well. Does the native screen resolution of 1680x1050 make the dvd look poor cause the dvd just doesn't have that much info to fill the screen perfectly? Are there tweaks to make the picture look better? Any help on this would be appreciated. Looks pretty normal when not set to full screen full screen.

Go to advanced settings for the video while playing the DVD and select "Overlay", then "Default" and see what the does. After than, you can adjust brightness and contrast to those level that please you.
