I was wondering if anyone managed to test the new BIOS (ver 2.02) release with a Turion CPU?? I've installed the new BIOS and its been working great with my existing configuration - This BIOS update reportedly supports the Turion in the D470K platform.

I need to replace my CPU with a REV E chip because my current CG rev 3700+ is not supported by virtual 64 bit environments (VMWAre 5.x and Virtual PC 2005).

Also, the Turion will aparently be released with dual cores in 2006 and I was wondering if the power demands of it would exceed that of the Clawhammer 3700+? Is Clevo formally going to endorse the CPU upgrades and publicly release the supporting BIOS updates?

Luke, can you help shed some light on these issues?

PS: No offense, but the 9750 as good as it is does not (in my case) offer me enough to ignore the 4750 with a CPU upgrade.

Best regards;
