I suppose you'll tell me the desktop part easily overclocks for 10,000 points or something, but save it, yeah? You can't pick yer desktop and monitor up and take them to class with you so you can play FEAR during a boring Anthro lecture, or sit in yer living room playing COD2 while the wife watches her boring soap opera bullshit and still have it count as 'together time'; you can then transfer the computer into your lap in BED after you're done porking her in order to play some more WoW, and have THAT count as 'together time' while she falls asleep (as long as you keep one ear cocked half-out of the headphones in case she murmurs something about loving you or whatever); and, finally, you can't drag your giant server case and monitor to every f*cking hotel you're forced to stay in WEEKLY for your sodding JOB, so you don't have smack-off to Cinemax and fall asleep at 8pm, and instead can play Battlefield 2 @ 1920x1200x2x8x and f*cking lose yourself in another f*cking world until 2am...sorry, bud, I'm a little plowed again and you certainly have made a contribution to this forum, but you really have been antagonistic lately since you grabbed the desktop from Opera...I know you're only pointing out the obvious ('8000 avg. score of a desktop card and 6600 avg of the mobile part is not 10-15% faster' <---this is technically completely true), and it does help us notebook faggots keep our feet on the ground, but for the love of Pete, let us have our fantasies once in awhile! The notebook graphics market IS NOT YET as good, as fast, as cheap, or as versatile as the desktop market, and that's to be expected; but goddammit, I truly believe the XPS1 AND XPS2 are two of the best investments I've ever made...hell I bought the wife an XPS2 I was so impressed...I was able to give my desktops away to my poorer brothers, and now the wife and I spend a lot more time together, simply because I don't have to be in my home office 13 out of every 24 hours...I can sit on the couch or in bed and work until I puke (check out the Laplander http://www.levenger.com/PAGETEMPLATES/PRODUCT/Product.asp?Params=Category=5-344|PageID=3567|Level=2-3|Link=PT|special=search|ID=SearchClicked|i=2 )
Anyhow, I don't mean to be critical, but for godsake, man, let the kids have their fantasies, eh?
