71whr battery of 700m is reliable?

Thread Starter
I'm just looking around at ebay.com for dell 700m battery.

I found "Dell 700M 71whr NEW Genuine Battery".

like this : http://search.ebay.com/search/search...ery&category0=

I didn't find information about 71whr battery at dell.com

it's reliable?

Now I'm doubting whether it'll be refublished and changed cells.

Is anybody here who has information about it?

In addition, I really want it's genuine and it also can be warranted by dell.com

Thanks for reading this.

The 71 is the latest battery available. One came with my 700m I bought in June while the one I got in March has a 65whr. I think the Dell site still talks about a 65 if I'm not mistaken.

The 71 whr battery shipped with my 700m and I get about 5 hrs. out of it. If you buy the battery off eBay Dell will not warranty it.

I believe Dell only sells the 71Whr battery now. All new 700m's come with the 71Whr battery and the Accessories site only sends you 71Whr batteries if you buy them there.

there is no performance difference between dell's 71whr and 65whr battery for the 700m.

li-ion batteries aren't refurbished in the sense that they can recharge the cells. dell has to call them refurbished if they are returned for whatever reason. they are for all purposes new.
