Seriously, is it worth it?

giving top dollar for the dell xps gen 2 with 7800gtx, which is heaven now but in about 3 months new models will be out.

what about a 9300 with nvidai 6800go, is that so bad, hows the game performance expected to be on newer games like oblivion, titans quest, or unreal.

im considering between a top of the line xps gen 2 or a 9300 and xbpx 360.

please aid me on my decicion and give me all the input and comments u got , aslong as they are appropriate adn relate to my topic.

any help will be greatly appreciated , thank u beforehand

OK stop already, this is about the 5th thread about this topic, and although contraversial YOU WILL NEVER get a good answer... Everyone has their opinions and everyone will post them but this is getting old and I think you can only answer your own question, NO ONE CAN ANSWER IT FOR YOU... What do you want? what do you value? Or is it that you want to know "What I Care about and what I value?" And if that's the case I find all single playyer games to be boring, and they get old fast. If I play single player game I won't pay for it to play for 6 days, I just download it or borrow it from a friend and I throw it out of my house like when I'm finished during a one night stand on a saturday night. I enjoy multiplayer games, and Computer Games Dominate the Multiplayer aspects as BF2 is one of the few games that let's 64 users play against one another, and then the Huge RPG games like World of Warcraft. No matter how good consoles graphics get, the idea of hosting games on the console itself is it's own self-limiting factor giving the PC the edge in that area. An area I value

Get an i9300 wait for a good coupon, and get at least a gig of ram. Now you're covered for Competitive/Online games.

And buy an Xbox360 for all of the graphics intensive/fun online/single player games that aren't so serious.

thats been my plan for the start

also if you don't have an HDTV then i'd say go for an i9300 and throw in 2gigs and a 7800GTX.

you'l get the same performance at a fraction of the cost, XPS and M170's are way overpriced, you'r paying for flashing lights and an astetically pleasing exterior.
