7800GTX Go wont O/C!

Hey, Well I installd my 7800 GTX in my I9300 just fine. Flashed up to the A04 XPS BIOS. However, I was having the same problem on the A01 Bios as well. No matter what drivers I use same thing, I am using 81.94 V2 TweaksRus. VEN WITH STOCK, OR 81.87, OR 81.84 Same problem. Ok, heres the problem. I hav a feeling the card is locked. i cannot O/C. When Move the sliders, test it, hit apply, ok. It doesnt do it. I go back into the NV Control panel, and it defaults it to stock. I installed the coolbits tweak, which I didnt need. I try Riva Tuner, and Registry settings. No matter which way I try, it always defaults back to the stock clock settings. I even tried it on a different load of Windows, with different drivers, same exact problem. I really dont know what to do. I have tried it all. Do I need to flash the BIOS on the card? Any help would be graetly appreciated!
Thanks

PS I hacked the registry in my BIOS, and overclocked my date and time.

Shoman can be a dick, but he's a knowledgeable dick which makes all the difference

Bottom line - the Go6800u and Go7800GTX BIOS won't allow you to manually overclock, even though the Nvidia interface seems to let you (ie, the values will always reset to stock when you close the interface). To overclock, you have to flash your bios with a new configuration that changes the actual memory and core speeds.

Shoman and a couple of others lead the way on this a few months ago with the 6800U. HammerMD has made the process almost totally foolproof with his downloadable ISO (basically you burn the ISO to a CD, boot from it, and run NVFlash with one of the pre-configured BIOS's on the CD).

For most of us, the 450C1200.ROM BIOS is the best bang for the buck. It appears that the memory is less sensitive to the speed settings, so I'm going to experiment with 450/1300 tomorrow and if I get a stable configuration I'll create a new ISO following Hammer's lead.
