It's standard practice in business to give a estimated delievery date on the far side of when it may ship /arrive and ship early. Also for a little FYI... on items of little value you don't have to be at home... so you wouldn't have been "screwed" by not being home... (Unless you're on the Fed-EX shit list) I got the disc(s) with no problems, they did not require a signature. Note also that orders ship seperately... I got one shipment for the OS, and another shipment for the QuickPlay install disc.... Both ordered at the same time, but for some reason showing as two seperate orders, hence being shipped seperately.
On the other items you are complaining about you have a valid point (being shipped the wrong items, incomplete order.)
To make sure that does not happen again go to partsurfer, look up the part number of the items you are expecting /wanting BEFORE you call up HP,,, then with those in hand get the rep to confirm what you are expecting to receive.
Addtionally give them your e-mail address as once the order is placed you will receive an order confirmation, along with a link to track the order's status.
PS: On the driver disc... you really don't need it... Go to HP and download the drivers....
