whats the difference between the WSXGA+ and WUXGA (aside from resolution)

usually with wuxga, its simply a glossy coating over the screen. it increases the contrast of the colors, making them seem deeper and richer, with the draw back of the screen being almost unreadable in direct light (i.e. sunlight) and the risk of the "shimmer" affect on whites that im sure you will find out about if u have read the forums at all. i personaly have a dell 9300 with the wuxga and i cant tell if theres shimmers or not. its not that big a deal imo. if u have the cash i would go with the wuxga

"Shimmers"? Like what? I've noticed some harsh highlights on my screen, is that what you're talking about?
