New noise - don't we know what this is?

Hey, I just noticed a noise my comp is making just of recent.

It's all quiet at night time, no music playing, and other than my fans and my hard disk (which is purposely a little audiable cuz I have it on max performance and stuff) I can hear a low almost whiney electrical buzzing noise. Not buzzing like a game show buzzer buzzing... but like a noise you'd hear from an old TV or something. Funny thing is if I scroll the Firefox window up and down like I'm reading a webpage, it stops. Heh.

What is this?

Turn on your bluetooth and it should stop. I don't know why this fixes it, but it does.

It's probably just the fans running on level 1.

There was a thread about this, something about the CPU.

Download RM CPU Clock Utility and turn on RUn HLT when Idle and the sound will go away.
