Anyone elses Z71V AC charger break?

My notebook keep switching between AC power and battery power everytime the cord coming out of the plug that goes into the notebook moves. I'm going to send the AC charger in to get replaced along with my battery and screen, but I was just curious if anyone elses charger has messed up like this.

Did you sent it into Asus for an RMA or did the place you bought the laptop from replace it?

I talked to my dealer (ISTNC) and they replaced it free of charge. But my problem with the charger was that (I think) a capcitator broke. It started smelling really bad. Like that metallic smell.
