I hope I dont make anyone angry. I know how some are anti dell, some are anti alienware and some are anti"whatever". I am in the army and I am wanting an extreemly awsome laptop with a good warrantee and support. right now i am using my wifes dell inspiron 9300, its nothing speacial. I am considering an alienware laptop with a 64 bit processor, dells dont have that yet. but the big thing is customer support and turnaround if i have any problems with it and have to send it back if i happen to be in germany or korea or something. Can anyone give tell me what they think of the customer support?
this is what I am thinking of getting:

Aurora m7700
AMD Athlone 64 3200
Windows xp pro x64
GeForce Go 7800 GTX
2 GB Ram
100 GB HD 7200 RPM
8x Duel layer DVD+-RW
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS

Let me know what you think. if you think there is something better let me know.

Aurora m7700
AMD Athlone 64 3200 = I would get 4800 X2 or FX 57
Windows xp pro x64 = dump 64 version just XP pro
GeForce Go 7800 GTX = good
2 GB Ram = good
100 GB HD 7200 RPM = get two, non raid
8x Duel layer DVD+-RW = good
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS = good

ummm the boobs is none of your business but just to let you know she just had a baby so they are bigger than normal

Right now i am retraining at fort gordon MOS will be 25U "signal support". I would like the FX but its kindof pricey and plus i could allways upgrade and there is nothing that requires that kindof power yet.

I've always had great service from Alienware, though I've rarely needed it. I've owned four desktops, and a laptop from AW.

As I understand it, dealing with AW through the military is different though. Most people overseas have delay issues with APO shipments. That's not AW's fault though, you'll have that with anything shipped through military APO.
